Anam Falak- removing and reporting.

So all of the posts regarding Anam Falak are reported and taken down, this gives the readers a very biased image of her and her work! Sad, that a person that claims to be a doctor and a makeup artist can't handle criticism at all. By reporting and removing it just proves that there is truth to all the stories and real reviews that were posted on our page. We feel bad for the ladies that posted their own reviews on how they were treated at Anam Falak, how her classes are and how she is as a person, We've put up her reviews on every popular Pakistani Forum and we'll continue to upload her reviews right here!

A "professional' that deletes all negative remarks and experiences off her own page as well as every other page that posts the truth about her real self. A "professional" that can't digest the fact that not everyone has a good word to put in for her, we have received several inbox messages about how rude and obnoxious she is to brides and her students for her 'makeup artistry' courses. Imagine having to sign your own name on your certificates? Imagine having eyes rolled at you for not knowing the basics of makeup?

This attitude will surely be her downfall, hiding and concealing every negative experience? Underestimating the power of word-of-mouth, blogging and forums?

Anyone that sends us an inbox asking us for her makeup and attitude, we've been honest and directed them to real experiences.

Jilted sister-of-the-bride posts her review.

This was a review written by a jilted sister of the bride who wasn't treated nice at all by Anam Falak of Anam's. This review was reported like every other negative review and removed from our page. When you try to remove the truth; it just proves that you are guilty.

Anam's ex-student isn't too happy.

"I want to share my experience too with Anum Falak . Back den I went to learn makeup from Anum Falak but her attitude was not so friendly . The first day I went for the class I saw this bride which she made her look so horrible that I thought whether I had come to the right place or not. The bride was a little dark in complextion n anum made her base look yellowish grey type n the brides eye makeup was horrible. I'm not sure this is her way of working but what I saw was anum was only doing the eye makeup of the brides n foundation n concelling her assistants were doing . Anum had a very careless attitude always came late like half an hour late to the class with her cup of tea n she went real fast in teaching makeup everything going over our heads but whenever I thought I would ask her questions after the class she use to pack up so quick n leave her assistant behind to answer the questions. I felt like I was wrong, there's nothing so special about anum n her makeup. Brides who them selves are naturally pretty looked good in her makeup only. Anum also taught this pathetic Arabic makeup which I believe that I could have youtubed it infact everything I learned I could have YouTubed. The brush kit she gave us is also available in Sunday bazar n the eyeshadow palettes she use to teach from bh cosmetics is no more used some random eyeshadow palletes. Most of the girls were unable to learn n were asked to attend more classes with the next batch. I have also seen her shouting on her mum that don't take 7 brides a day . It seems like her mum is running after money. After class we use to practice makeup on our selves n anam was never there to tell us or guide us she left her assistant behind with us. She will tell u good brands for makeup to buy but will never tell u what shades wud go.on your skin until n unless u suck up to her totally. I still have n't learned as much as I expected. Seriously guys don't waste ur 17 k or 20 k learning makeup from her YouTube it or take long courses from proper place where instructors teach makeup with individual attention or atleast be kind enough to answer your queries."

Todays review is for Anam's Makeup Classes:

"I went to Pakistan in December, and was really excited to take the make-up classes I'd had my mother sign me up for 3 months in advance. Unfortunately, my experience was not very good at all, and I think it'll be useful to post a review.

Firstly, the class size was of 29 students, which considering the size of the studio was too much. The number of s...tudents also made it impossible for Anam to actually look at anyone's face and give make-up advice accordingly (even though this is what I'd been told would happen). If anyone did dare to ask for advice according to their own features, they were given an eye-roll (courtesy Anam) and told to "use (their) common sense".

Which brings me to her attitude. I'd checked to make sure that the course was suitable for beginners, through previous students and Anam's studio itself. I'd been assured that it was perfect for people who had no idea about what to do with make-up. The reality was that every time I asked a basic question, I was given a rude, short and unhelpful answer. Since I can be quite stubborn, I'd keep asking, which only led to more rudeness but eventually a passable answer. This was not what I paid for.

Speaking of payment. The course costs Rs. 20,000. I'm a student, and it was hard for me to convince myself to spend that amount, but I thought Anam's "professionalism" would be worth it. Instead, her complete lack of punctuality really made me regret the amount I spent. The classes were supposed to start at 6 pm sharp and end at 8 pm. They always started 35 minutes late and one day, even an hour. Even then Anam would be in a hurry to get out of there. She would give us her demonstration in 30 to 45 minutes and instead of sticking around to see the results of our practice would promptly disappear. All of us students were left to analyze each other's make-up and dole out advice. Definitely not worth 20,000.

Even though the course was advertised as being 5 days long (this duration was posted of FB, written on my receipt, told personally to me multiple times), on the 3rd day we were suddenly told that it was 6 days long. This would not have been a problem, except for the fact that because I was in Karachi for such a short time period, I had travel plans for the 6th day and ended up having to reschedule my "test" which was inconvenient. The test was really the cherry on top. After 5 other girls and I had spent an hour applying our make-up, Anam's hairstylist walked in with a camera and informed us that Anam was not available to check our make-up. She wanted us to get our pictures taken so that Anam could give us feedback, but in the meantime, here was a stack of signed certificates that we could write our names on and take. All this after I had called beforehand to ensure that the test time suited Anam! Of course, I never received any calls about feedback either, so I now have a certificate saying I've received 12 hours of make-up training (inaccurate) from Anam Falak (who never bother to double-check that I can apply make-up to her standards, if she even has any).

I was really disappointed by the whole experience. I feel as though I've been tricked for my money, and it's really unfortunate, because I had very high hopes from Anam after reading/hearing amazing reviews. I don't know if she's just over the whole classes thing, but it's sad that she's not delivering on her high promises."

Another review for Anam's Makeup Class: (someone that read our last post and messaged us)

"Hi I am sorry to know about your experience. I truly feel for you that you wanted to learn but you couldn't. Anam should take care of her students, 20k might be nothing for her but they could be a lot for others. You should have written this review on her page.

Well as far as I am concerned I did course w...ith Anam few months back in UK. My experience was good but it could be because of the fact that basically I wanted to learn only eye makeup and I did learn it there. There were 20+ girls in our class, she was not rude in answering our questions but she could not deliver how to properly use a foundation, bronzer and blusher. Everyone's face shape is different and you cannot just pick a perfect face with all cuts to teach others, I think it could have been better if she would have done some effort in teaching this part.

She has a carefree attitude and sometimes I found her proud but I think thats because of her fame and level of success she is enjoying. I am not appreciating it but you know people are like that. One more thing which might be irrelevant I have seen people writing on anum's page to remove their pics but she doesn't remove them. This is surely not professionalism.

Other thing she took us to MAC store and told us because she gets 20% or 25% discount so we can buy under her name and pay her rather than paying to the store , she made us feel that she was doing a huge favour on us, which she was but later we found out that MAC actually gives her 33% - 40% discount. We felt pretty bad that she was doing favour on us because she wanted to earn more by our purchases. We wouldn't have felt bad if she wouldn't have lied about a small discount :/

Anyways its hard to catch her and if anyone wants to learn eye makeup only then go for her otherwise I do not recommend and btw her hair course is just CRAP. Save your money."

Review for Anam Falak

"Another review sent to us early this morning, also for Anam Falak: (An Anam bride and student)

"I took anam's classes in jan last year and I would say my experience was ok if not better or worst. But to my utter bad luck I chose her to get my nikah makeup done a couple of months after that which proved to be one bad experience! I got my booking done along with my sister's party makeup by paying t...he advance. My other sis decided later to get her makeup from anam's too. So I called up the studio to ask if that could be done without the advance (since my home was really far from her studio) and that I would pay in full with the final balance payment. Her mother who then used to handle the payments n stuff agreed without any hesitation. When we reached there her assistance started doing my hairdo and I kept telling her not to do great amount of back combing since I was already a 5 7" girl but she hardly understood and made a great puff/ back combed jora. I didn't look good from there only! N then after quite sometime when anam came, she flatly refused to do one of the two party makeups by first saying she has to go somewhere. When we requested she was like she has a strained elbow and finally she was like she doesn't do makeup without advance payment. In 1-1.5 hr she gave us three different reasons which showed her level of professionalism! In the end she just did my makeup (which I believed could have been way better) and only one of my sister's (which too was just ok too)! We got her assistant to do my other sis makeup because we didn't had any makeup essentials and we were short of time to go home. Also she left after doing our makeup and she was least bothered about how bad my hair looked. Also she asked if I would like to be photographed to which I said yes she can take one but not to put on fb! Then she was like She doesnt have battery in her camera! I was totally disappointed by her level of professionalism and her etiquettes! She clearly has an attitude problem and that is great annoyance for clients who go with so many expectations and after spending so much money!!"
